Human Development Index Analysis of Kutai Barat Regency 2024

Human development as a measure of overall development performance is formed through the approach of three basic dimensions, namely a long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent life. These three dimensions are summarized into a single indicator, the Human Development Index (HDI). The dynamics of the HDI indicator provide an overview of the development of human development in a region. The presentation of HDI by region allows each province and district/city to know the human development map, both achievements, positions, and disparities between regions. Thus, it is expected that each region can be encouraged to strive to improve development performance through improving the quality of human resources. In addition to HDI figures, the publication of the Human Development Index (HDI) of Kutai BaratRegency in 2024 also presents data relevant to HDI indicators, which include aspects of education, health and the economy. The presentation of these data is expected to provide a more comprehensive picture of the conditions and achievements of human development in Kutai Barat Regency.
